No tasks to complete in day 19. Just information on getting paid traffic from PPC vs SEO. I am going out for dinner and shopping now. Will be watching the videos on PPC advertising in the evening and then decide what to do next.

I am not getting much traffic, but I guess that is because I am ranked on the second page.
When checking the market samurai keyword data again, I am wondering if I have screwd up when picking the phrase or if they have changed since I picked my phrase. It has now way more than 30 000 competing sites, so I am wondering if I should try targeting another phrase or just keep building backlinks and see if I can rank higher.

I have written an article and submitted it to ezine articles. It is now waiting for approval and when it is approved I will social bookmark it. Posted two comments on squidoo.

My rankings I already checked yesterday, but it has changed now.. I am number 19 for the plural and number 16 for singular…

I know I said I would work on the challenge yesterday, but the weather was really nice so I decided to go into the city for dinner and look around in the shops a bit.

Today I have built a weebly page and social bookmarked it. I have done some commenting to get linkbacks to my site..

After updating my blog, my new post appeared as listing 17 in google for the plural of my phrase and my index page dropped down to 32. For the singular of my phrase I am listed at number 15. It should be possible for me to make it to the top… We’ll see how the challenge progresses..

Day 13 was just checking stats with google analytics.

I also social bookmarked the hub I built yesterday and posted two comments to get linkbacks.

Day 14 of the challenge has been removed, so tomorrow I will either start day 15 or update my blog. I only made the initial post back in August, so it really needs to be updated…

I went over to see a friend of me today and ended up staying there much longer than planned. Then I came home and I was procrastinating for quite a while about building the hubpage. I posted some comments to get links to my site. Then my aunt called and we talked for an hour on the phone. When I finally got started on the hub I kept beeing distracted by all kinds of things, but  I did complete my hub. However, I did not social bookmark it yet, and since it is now almost 4 am and I should be sleeping I will be doing that tomorrow.

Just a small update on today’s progress. I will post every day now, even if it is just to tell I have been trying to build some link backs to my site.

Today I have:
- Reviewed some of the previous days’ instructions.
- Fixed a xhtml bug in my wordpress theme
- Submitted a few blog comments.. Since they require approval of the blog owner I don’t know if they will appear online… Posting at forums, google groups and in the guestbook at squidoo sites just seem a bit spammy to me when adding a link, but I may start posting squidoo comments and just add a link below my name at the end of the comment as that seems to be okay to do in there.

Tomorrow I will be starting on day 12
- Build a hubpage
- Social bookmark the hubpage
- Post more comments to get links to my site

I am back, and this time I intend to actually complete the rest of the thirty day challenge.. Though I have the summary of the first 11 days on my blog I think I’m going to rewatch the days about social bookmarking and building linkbacks just to get my head back into thinking about the process.

I just checked my google listing for my main phrase at google, and I am listed on page two. And I am getting an average of 5 hits a day to my blog..

So my goals right now is:

1) Finish the challenge, sales or no sales, I just want to have done it…
2) Try to get a top 10 ranking in google for my main phrase

In day 9 we were going to get more backlinks to our site and find out if we were indexed by the search engines. In day 10 we were going to submit our RSS feed using the thirty day challenge RSS submit tool.
In day 11 we were going to make a squidoo lens and social bookmark it.

I just completed my lens and I am going to social bookmark it now and also build some more backlinks because my blog hasn’t been indexed by google yet… Hopefully google will come soon..

Day 7 was very easy. Just added google analytics and tracking links to the blog. I installed the google analytics plugin to add google analytics easily to wordpress. I don’t want to use the 30 day challenge click tracking tool, so for now I just added a new folder in my hosting account and uploaded a file with a PHP redirect. Then I can check the hosting stats to see how many hits this file receives.

In day 8 we used socialmarker to bookmark our website at propeller, digg, delicious, stumble upon and twitter.

Two easy days completed and I’m heading off to work on day 9 of the thirty day challenge…
